The Schedule and Calendar

Students attend G·tec once a week, for one and a half hours after school, for 26 weeks. The school year commences the first full week after Labor Day in September and culminates in the spring. The calendar is set to coincide with the local school systems. If a class is full and you are interested in registering for the program, be sure to contact the center to get on our waitlist. Priority will be given to those in a carpool, as we are located in a senior citizen community.

Holiday Calendar

Please consult the holiday schedule as provided over the summer. As a general guideline, the center is closed for the following holidays:

Jewish High Holidays: Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kipper (days of, not the nights prior)
The Week of Thanksgiving
Winter Vacation (last week in December and the first week in January)
Mid-winter Break (Three weeks in February)
Spring Recess (Two weeks, public and private schools)

Double Sessions

When a class is canceled due to inclement weather, snow, jury duty, teacher illness, or the beginning of a holiday week, the class will be held as a double session the prior or following week.
